I have been going back and forth with Carle Central Scheduling and my Gastrointestinal Dr attempting to get a scan scheduled. Today I spoke with Cynthia at Central Scheduling and she was fantastic. Went above and beyond to help me figure out the issue and why its taking so long. It was so refreshing to feel like someone truly cared. Thank you!

My 5 year old son had surgery at this facilities same day center. We had a nurse named, "Nicci." Red short hair, heavier set, glasses. This nurse repeatedly touched my child after I told her not to, while smiling and rolling her eyes at me. I asked for a new nurse 3 times and was told I couldn't. The 6th time she laid her hands on my son, I had to snap out to get her away from us..I wrote to patient relations, and was basically told there will be no consequences for her actions, (she lied repeatedlyand they believed her). I know there wasn't, because weeks later when he needed the pins removed, this nurse saw me in the hallway and essentially laughed in my face. BEWARE OF THIS NURSE! I have never in my almost 40 years had a bad experience that trumps this!

I was in the ER with my niece and it was absolutely disgusting. There were used blankets draped all over the waiting room from previous patients. There was no where to sit bc it was all covered in dirty blankets. There is zero privacy. They have people stationed in the hallway, they had 3 people in one back room. You could hear everything that was wrong with the others, what they were . The room was dirty, you could see dust on fixture. Not a place someone who isn’t feeling great would feel comfortable. Definitely makes you want to go elsewhere for your care. I still can’t get over how dirty the ER was.

I had a very positive experience with the staff, especially the nursing team. Abby, who placed my IV, was exceptional. I usually have difficult veins, but she took her time, explained everything clearly, and made me feel safe. She inserted the IV so gently that I didn’t feel any pain at all, which has never happened to me before. Another nurse who assisted me was also very kind and attentive. The reception staff and triage staff were also excellent—everyone was professional, kind, and welcoming. However, I was disappointed with the medical care. I arrived at the hospital in pain and was discharged still in pain. Although I received IV ibuprofen and some tests were done, there was no resolution of my symptoms. The doctor initially mentioned possible causes while evaluating me, but after the test results came back, she told me that everything was normal and that she did not know what could be causing my pain. I was advised to follow up with a primary care doctor, but I did not receive clear guidance on how to manage my pain at home, what medications to take, or what to watch for. Additionally, I was traveling and out of state at the time, so it would take me days to return home an

Wound care center. Final visit. Dr's appointments are never something that you look forward to but.......The staff at the Wound Care Center make it much less stressful and much MORE ENJOYABLE!!!! Starting with Heather the receptionist to each and every nurse and the Dr. in charge it was a pleasure for each and every visit. This was my final visit I got to ring the bell of success or completion. That alone made that visit superb. It felt as if I was a partner with them which I believe makes the visits actually something to look forward to. Maybe when you feel like they have your best interest at heart it helps you get better faster with the helpful and positive attitude that the staff has. I cant say enough positive things. Last but not least.....THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART..........
